I was selected for the Sundance / NHK lab, the Berlinale-ran Talents Tokyo and the BAFTA Connect program. My latest work, the doc “Tears Teacher”, screened at Sundance and Hot Docs and was acquired by the New York Times.

My feature in development was selected for the Sundance x NHK lab, Talents Tokyo, Focus Asia and received the main award at Busan film festival’s Asian Project Market - following in the footsteps of Bong Joon-ho and Hou Hsiao Hsien to name a few.

The script is currently a Nicholl semi-finalist and Shore Scripts quarter-finalist.

Actor: I've worked both with both indie darlings (Koji Fukada, Naomi Kawase) and on national hits (Death Note, Never Let Me Go, Zack Snyder-produced Army of the Dead).
