About
I've always had a keen interest in music and performance. I started learning piano at age 5, violin at 9, guitar at 13 and started taking singing more seriously at age 18. The guitar and bass guitar is now my primary instrument with vocal and keys both playing a major role in my performances and compositions.
From age 6 I attended after-school drama workshops until age 11. This gave me an understanding of basic stage craft. This has served me well in my music performances with an amateur band because I realise there is more to a musical performance than just playing the music.
Whilst studying BTEC Music Performance and Music Technology I discovered I have a natural ability with Music Production, helping to fully realise my composition ideas.
I was fortunate enough to earn a place on the BFI short film making course based at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School where I took on the roles of both Sound Recordist and Composer (I was heavily involved in the post sound production as well).
I am currently working freelance as a sound recordist, post sound designer and music producer.
