Kim is a freelance writer for the stage and screen. Her scripts reflect a clear interest in social issues, women’s rights and mental health.

Kim's play 'My Brother's Keeper' is shortlisted for the inaugural, Women's Prize for Playwriting 2020, with EKP and Paines Plough and was previously longlisted for the Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting 2019. In 2020, she is one of three writers selected for a development and full production opportunity with Manchester ADP with her play 'Somebody Chile(child)'. She won the EQUAL short screenplay competition 2020 by ProcamTV and the Farm Group, which is one of her four short films in production in 2020/21. Kim also has original screenplays and her TV Pilot and pitch reached the top 14% with ITV Red Planet Prize 2020.

Kim is a drama writer but also loves crime thriller, science fiction and dark comedy with projects across these genres. She graduated City University London in 2015 with an MA in Creative Writing: Playwriting and Screenwriting with Distinction.
