About
I am an Media Artist who has been exploring collaborative structures within multimedia projects for the last sixteen years. I studied Audio Visual Communication at St Martins School of Art; I was awarded a distinction for my MA in Digital Art from the University of the Arts London; and have recently been awarded a doctorate at Falmouth University looking at non-hierarchy through Open Source approaches to distributed filmmaking. My thesis has since been published by Scholar's Press under the title "Swarm TV". As part of this, I facilitated at least 15 short films over the last seven years exploring different decision-making structures that encourage effective group consensus. I currently work as a Senior Technical Instructor for Digital Audio at the School of Film & Television at Falmouth University.
