I am a creative motivated and enthusiastic person who has over eight years experience working in radio production , creative writing and presenting. I am well experienced in creative writing and producing entertaining , educating and informative adverts, news stories , interviews , promo's and radio drama's to be broadcast. Audio I have produced have been featured on BBC radio Merseyside , boom radio , Bauer academy , unity radio 92.8FM , 7 waves radio , peace FM and ALLFM. I had a passion for radio at a very early age. By the age of 15 I had broadcast my own two hour show on a local community station called TTFM. Whilst there I gained experience in desk driving and also the presenting skills needed to captivate an audience. In 2005 I enrolled on a radio production course at Ariel Trust based in Liverpool, were I attended for 6 months and gained an OCN level 3 in script writing and radio production. After leaving Ariel Trust I began applying for work placements in Liverpool and was successfully offered a four week placement at BBC Radio Merseyside on the upfront show. Due to my extensive experience and knowledge of the environment I was then offered a position as co-presenter and was with the upfront team for two years.After leaving BBC Radio Merseyside in 2008 I enrolled and attended a radio production course at Radio Regen in Manchester, where I gained a NCFU level 2 in radio production. I then decided to further my knowledge in radio production in 2009 and enrolled at Liverpool Media Academy where I attended for two years and gained a BTEC in Radio Production. Since leaving Liverpool Media Academy I really gained a passion for the creative and production side of radio creating and producing informative and entertaining broadcasts. In 2012 I joined Unity Radio in Manchester which specializes in urban and house music my role there was studio manager I work very close with the presenters and deejays producing their shows and also creative writinIn the past year I did a lot of work with the Bauer academy, Creative skillset and Go Think Big completing four courses with step inside and attending go think big events and courses at various Bauer networks including Key 103, Radio City 96.7, Hallam Fm, Rock Fm Radio Clyde and Bauer magazine London which has helped me gain knowledge and experience of how commercial radio works. In 2016 I have pursue my career to break into television production and I am currently studying for my BA Hons degree in film and televsion production at Staffordshire University. Since I have begun studying I have started to direct and produce my own short films, documentaries and corporate videos with clients including Goals soccer centre, Pier aquatics, Dr Feelgood Tattoo and accident awareness charity RoSPA. Recently Channel 5 news contacted to be Interviewed and I was featured on channel 5 news regarding one of my documentaries that I directed and produced about Northern rail which was also screened at a film expo in The fact cinema Liverpool. Away from media I have worked in sales, marketing and retail. I am a very outgoing self- motivated person and very comfortable working on my own or as part of a team.
