Originally from Busan, Minha Kim is an award-winning director based in London. Already having made successful short films in South Korea she went on to direct multiple films in the United Kingdom that has been distinguished in various film festivals. Her graduation film from the National Film & Television School, SEA CHILD, has been screened and won at well over 50 film festivals across the globe including Palm Springs, Edinburgh, Melbourne International Film Festivals and AFI FEST. The film was invited as the part of Emerging Female Voices at Toronto International Film Festival in 2016. Her most recent short film A PERFECT TURN has supported by BFI Network and Film London, and just won Best Cinematography Award at the BFI Film London 2018 showcase.
