My name is Sarah and I am a freelance Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist based in Bristol, UK.

I graduated from Bath Academy of Media Makeup where I professionally trained in makeup for TV and film, under the creative direction of Oscar-winning Makeup Designer Peter Swords King.

Since completing my training, I have been working in the industry and experiencing many different aspects including TV, film, theatre, fashion, editorial and bridal. I have worked in the hair and makeup department of TV dramas, feature films, a children's television series, a popular TV gameshow and an international TV news channel.

In 2019, I qualified in Women's Hairdressing and attended the London School of Barbering, graduating with distinction.

In 2020, I was accepted onto the industry-recognised ScreenSkills scheme for high-end TV production. I now continue to work on TV and film productions as well as photoshoots, assisting at weddings and with private clients.

With a background in art and design, I enjoy expressing my creativity through my work. I have a good knowledge of skincare having previously trained and worked in beauty and holistic therapies for many years.

I have always been amazed at the power of hair and makeup to totally transform a look, create a character or simply enhance natural beauty.

I love to meet new people, explore new places and learn new skills. My career, so far, has enabled me to do all of these, both in the UK and abroad, providing me with some exciting and varied opportunities, whilst doing what I love.
