Director
Ian Hylands is a director and writer, based near Portsmouth. With 17 years experience since selling his first screenplay in 2000, Ian has written short films, plays, adaptations and radio since. As a director, he is currently Senior Associate at TFT and has directed a range of shows from his own pantomime "The Dark Knight Before Christmas", "The Merchant of Venice", "Steptoe and Son", "Richard II", "The Tempest" and this year is directing his own translation/adaptation of Chekhov's "The Sneeze" in July, in August he opens "Coriolanus" and in October, will be directing Jez Butterworth's award winning "Jerusalem".
