ScreenSkills have named Hannah Green as the interim Head of High-end TV, replacing Kaye Elliott who stepped down in June after eight years in the role.
Previously holding the position of Senior High-end TV Programmes Manager, Hannah oversaw a number of the key initiatives supported by the HETV Skills Fund, including the flagship progression programme, Leaders of Tomorrow.
Hannah will take up the role officially from 1 September, leading the HETV team in the consistent and effective commissioning and delivery of all Skills Fund activities throughout this financial year and will work with the executive team to help define the roles going forward.
Hannah Green said: “I’m delighted to be taking on this role and continuing the great work that Kaye achieved during her time. It’s an exciting and busy time for the HETV Skills Fund and I’m looking forward to working with industry partners to help further support and create opportunities for our workforce. Thankfully I already have a great HETV team who deliver incredible work day in day out which is something I know will continue.”
Laura Mansfield, CEO, ScreenSkills, said: “Hannah and the HETV Senior leadership team have risen to the occasion and provided real stability and leadership since June which I’m hugely grateful for. I’m delighted to welcome her in this new position as Head of HETV and as we work as an organisation to deliver our shared strategy. I know how much experience and skill there is within the team and that Hannah will have the best support at all levels in this exciting phase.”
Barry Ryan, Council Chair of the High-end TV Skills Fund, said: “I am incredibly proud of Hannah stepping into this role, offering continuity for the HETV team. She is already a beacon for the incredible Leaders of Tomorrow and will be a fantastic leader for the HETV Skills Fund as we face the challenges of the changing TV landscape.”
