Information and opportunities from across the whole of the screen industries can be now found in one handy place on the ScreenSkills website.
Two directories bring together quality content from different screen organisations to make it easier for anyone wanting to get into or progress in film, TV, animation, games or VFX (visual effects) as they no longer have to go to different websites to find the training, masterclasses, information and resources they need.
Trainers, educators, careers advisers and those who support the industries in other ways, including research, can also find content selected especially for them by using the filters in the directories.
ScreenSkills now has two directories:
- Information and resources – filter by subject, career stage, nation and industry to find masterclasses, videos and e-learning from organisations across the screen industries.
- Training and opportunities – filter by subject, career stage and industry to book onto training courses from a range of different training providers to develop your career. External courses and training that meet certain criteria can be submitted for inclusion alongside the training run or commissioned by ScreenSkills.
The ScreenSkills directories mean organisations don't need to re-create content that others have made as people can be directed to the quality information that is already there. It is hoped this will benefit freelancers and other screen professionals and employers as well as our partners in the sector.
