Working closely with the Acting Product Development Manager and Product Development Executive, you’ll play a key role in the approvals process, asset management, and presentation creation, as well as supporting day-to-day operations and special projects. The role will be based in our Foley Street office, with some hybrid working.
What you’ll do:
- Assist with reviewing and approving licensed merchandise and packaging – from initial designs to final samples.
- Ensure all products reflect brand values and follow style guides.
- Manage the online approvals and asset management system.
- Organise and distribute contractual product samples to stakeholders.
- Maintain product archives, office displays, and storage.
- Keep product launch trackers and asset files up to date.
- Support the creation of brand and licensee presentations.
- Research competitor products and track online product reviews.
- Help prepare for tradeshows, licensing events, and award submissions.
- Carry out general administrative duties to support the team.
What we’re looking for:
- A self-starter who is proactive, motivated, and able to manage their own workload.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear, confident communication skills – both written and verbal.
- The ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
- A collaborative team player with a flexible, positive approach.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience in product development, licensing, or creative industries is a plus, but not essential.
- Candidates with 12-24 months of hands-on experience in a similar role.
Why you’ll love working here:
At Magic Light Pictures, we combine creativity, quality, and storytelling to create products that delight audiences of all ages. You’ll join a friendly, passionate team where your work will make a visible difference in bringing our beloved characters to life in the real world.
