Gareth Ellis-Unwin, Head of Film and Animation
An Academy and BAFTA award-winning Producer, Gareth leads on the delivery of the Future Film Skills 10-point action plan and sets the overall strategic direction for the Film Skills Fund. He is a voting member of BAFTA, Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences and the Producers Guild of America, and a long-standing member of BECTU and the Production Guild of Great Britain.
Tariq Wahr, film production liaison manager
Tariq liaises with film producers, studios and distributors, outlining the benefits of
contributing into the Film Skills Fund.

Hannah commissions continuing professional development (CPD) to
support people working in the UK film industry.
Michelle Moon Lim, inclusivity manager
Michelle leads on diversity and inclusion strategies and action plans for ScreenSkills.

Tom Holmes, Film Trainee Finder lead
Tom is the lead on Film Trainee Finder, an annual scheme that helps place trainees in product, craft and tech roles on feature films across the UK. Tom oversees the yearly recruitment for the cohort, all placement opportunities on productions, and the organisation of industry masterclasses and development opportunities; including a nationwide alumni mentoring scheme to help enhance our trainees' employability.
Francesca Brasington, film coordinator
Francesca co-ordinates the film team’s activity and provides diary support for the head of film. Francesca is the main point of contact for all film related queries.
Jo Myall, Trainee Finder administrator
Jo provides administration for both Film and High-end TV Trainee Finder. Jo offers practical support to individual trainees with their placements and you can contact her for advice about applying to become a trainee or if you are a production looking for your paperwork.
