About
Production Assistant / Trainee Researcher / Children’s & Youth-Focused Content
Production Assistant and Trainee Researcher with experience supporting studio and location productions at Amazon Prime Video and Craft Academy. I specialise in child-centred content, combining strong production support with a solid understanding of welfare, safeguarding, and duty of care. The pitch deck I created for a vet-based children's show won me a bursary to attend The Children's Media Conference.
Key production support includes:
- Cross-departmental teamwork and clear communication
- Stakeholder liaison and contributor management
- Pitch deck support and development
- Research into demographics, trends, and story ideas
- Thumbnail and visual sample editing
- Audience wrangling, particularly with child contributors
- Studio, office, and location logistics support
- Music clearance
- Casting children and liaising with schools, parents, and carers
With a background in arts education and childcare, and experience teaching children aged 3–11, I bring practical insight into working with young contributors in fast-paced production environments.
I also have first-hand experience as a young performer, having booked contracts with Mackie’s Ice Cream, BBC’s Bad Education, AQA, and JBL, giving me a rounded understanding of on-set dynamics from both production and contributor perspectives.
