About
I am currently a university student at Salford working towards a degree in graphic design. I pride myself on how I’m always driven to inspire and innovate with every project, constantly seeking new approaches to push the boundaries of design where required but I still love the foundations of design. I have a passion for creating appropriate and impactful solutions that solve problems and add value. I believe that design is a collaborative process and that the best design results come from a team of people working together to create something special. Working together to combine diverse perspectives and ideas allows us to create something unique, something that stands out from the crowd. I have developed skills in all Microsoft software and Adobe apps, such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Procreate which I utilise throughout my education and am constantly seeking to improve and develop. However, I pride myself the most on my problem-solving abilities and the passion to look at problems from new creative angles, always seeking something new and innovative but still appropriate

Work experience
Through my tutor, I gained work experience with a production company in Media City. This has involved working on their brand guidelines, filling in any missing information, and ensuring their guides aligned with their values and target audience. This experience has been extremely valuable so far, as I've been able to work with industry professionals and learn about the industry.

Checkouts
Even as I gained this job for part-time work over the summer, it has given me valuable skills in helping and advising customers, always making sure their needs are met, in time management, learning how to balance my work and education, and in problem-solving, learning how to solve issues fast and efficiently to make sure business isn’t disrupted.

Set production
During my second year of university, I gained the opportunity to work with the set production course to help them create some pieces for their set. I recreated posters and designed a range of beer labels to dress their various sets. This was a valuable experience as it allowed me to work alongside people interested in the same career as me.
