About
A motivated and adaptable graduate, with a First Class Honours in BA Film - specializing in identity on screen – seeking a production management role in scripted and unscripted television. I have made it a prerogative to work on my knowledge and understanding of the importance of identity politics in media; and thus, look to work on and create projects that include and highlight diverse talent.
My proactive and methodological approach to work result in me taking the lead with administrative tasks and general production management on past projects that I’ve worked on. My production and University experiences combined have equipped me with the ability to fill multiple roles, such as: researching, logging, production coordinating, and generally supporting a production team. I’ve found this helpful to not only my own roles, but in my ability to direct and guide my team to achieve set goals.

Production Coordinator Fast Track Scheme
After my past experience with the company, I knew this scheme would be the perfect opportunity to hone the production management skills that I want to pursue in my career. This programmed offered multiple training and seminar sessions on a variety of important skills and industry standards that are needed for any level of production management role. As well as being trained proficiently in soft wear applications like PMI and Blackbird; experience shadowing different line producers and production coordinators allowed for practical applications of my training especially on their biggest franchise – Gold Rush. I have had the opportunity to learn the details of planning and hiring for an international shoot, prepare crew and executive travel (i.e. accommodation/flight bookings, movement orders, per diems, updating production/travel schedules), sustainability on set via ALBERT paperwork, and the general administrative tasks.

Receptionist
As well as general administrative and front of house duties, this position requires to liaise with production execs from all the offices (London, NY and LA) regarding calls, meeting scheduling and staff leavers from all running productions. I was also responsible for formatting and contributing to a monthly internal staff newsletter to promote topical news and client promotions. I have been able to aid different departments with a wide variety of administrative responsibilities like credit card reconciliations/invoices for management, to monitoring production staff training. Organization and time management were an integral component of this role.
-
Producer
This role entailed producing a 2 day shoot in 2 and a half weeks. From schedules and budgets, to hiring talent and negotiating contracts - I was given full responsibility and successfully organised the shoot of this independent, short film.
-
Production Assistant
This position required me to keep onto of the productions paperwork (e.g. risk assessments, call sheets..), liaise with cast/crew, as well as researching and booking rehearsal and shooting locations. Additional duties included assisting the wardrobe department and being responsible for refreshments on the day of the shoot.

Work Experience
A work experience placement that gave me an insight into the practicality of working within the film and TV industry. The company itself specializes in factual productions revered by awards voters and viewers alike. My roles and responsibilities varied by the week, with opportunities to act as the office runner, receptionist and, even on occasion, production work - including development research. The greatest thing I gained from the experience was understanding the differing expectations and responsibilities of development, production, and editorial departments.

Inclusive Practice Partner
This role entailed working with staff, from the university of Brighton, in a scheme encouraging the decolonization of the curriculum. With team support, but working on my own, I was responsible with researching my courses modules, sources and reading lists. Any recommendations to the course had to be well researched and prepared for a presentation with the course’s module leader. Many changes I presented were implemented for future students taking the film course. It was a fulfilling opportunity and an amazing application of the knowledge gained during the completion of my dissertation (on the wider impact of colonialism).
