Longer term ambition: production designer/supervising art director
After five itinerant years as part of a team making tents and installing them around the UK, Lily studied set design for film and TV at the University of South Wales. A year after graduating she was accepted onto the ScreenSkills Trainee Finder programme. Since then Lily has progressed to art directing on HETV dramas such as The Great (Hulu), Gangs of London (AMC/Sky) and Great Expectations (Disney/BBC), where she has excelled due to her communication, interdepartmental relationships and design skills. She is hoping that the Leaders of Tomorrow programme can help her to gain valuable insight into areas where she would like to gain experience, such as in pre prep, departmental budgeting and initial design discussions. This will give her confidence in continuing to progress in her creative career, eventually to becoming HoD.
