This training is comprised of two sessions on the same day. Each session is two hours long (11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm).

Please ensure you can attend both sessions before you apply.

This training course provides important insight into Children's Television and organising shoots with under 18s.

It includes how to manage the schedules and activities of children and minors on production. As well as new information about how the current pandemic impacts on the work of First ADs in Children's TV.

It will be incredibly useful for second and third ADs who need to know more about the specific disciplines required as a First Assistant Director.

Organised and co-presented by Grand Scheme Media, the course is led by experienced First AD Jez Marshall.

These events are supported by the ScreenSkills Children’s TV Skills Fund which invests in training for those working in children’s live-action TV thanks to contributions from the industry

They are part of a ScreenSkills programme designed to support freelancers to upskill and stay connected, helping keep the industry resilient in these difficult times.

These sessions will take place online via Zoom. Click ‘get ticket’ to reserve your place: you must login or register before you are able to get a ticket for this event. A booking confirmation with a joining link to the session will be sent to you via email.

If you are no longer able to use your ticket, we ask you to please contact support@screenskills.com  so that we can release your place. Our sessions are often oversubscribed, so we’d like to give other freelancers the opportunity to fill available spots.
