Join the first online webinar as part of the Virtual Production Webinar series for 2024 - 2025 to hear about how Virtual Production roles are expanding and what training is needed in HETV & Film. 

Virtual production is being used more regularly in a range of television productions. As a result, it is becoming increasingly important to have an understanding of what it is and how it works.   

This one-hour webinar session will provide an introduction to the below:

  • What roles are in Virtual Production
  • What roles can we see appearing in Virtual Production
  • What departments are using virtual production
  • What virtual production is looking like for 2024 - 2025 and beyond
  • How has the landscape changed in the last three years for skills
  • What training will be beneficial for these roles in HETV & Film

This programme is funded by the ScreenSkills High-End TV & Film Skills Fund made up of contributions from high-end TV & Film productions made in the UK. 

The three speakers in the session are:

Michael Adefehinti is a Creative Technologist, Real-time Game Engine Specialist, and one of Framesync’s Co-Founders. He has worked under various roles involving real-time, virtual production technologies on several titles, such as Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom (2023), The Flash (2023), Black Widow (2021), No Time To Die (2021), Barbie (2023), and more. 

Christian Dickens is an ICVFX Consultant for Framesync and Virtual Production Supervisor in the HETV & Film industry. He has worked under various roles for major productions such as the Virtual Production Supervisor on award-winning All of Us Strangers (2022), Barbie (2023), Gangs of London (2022), Dinosaurs - The Final Day with David Attenborough (2022) and more.

Dani Bellar Pilukas has a proven track record of delivering award-winning projects both domestically and internationally as a Virtual Production Producer for HETV & Film. She has worked on major High-end TV shows such as Masters of the Air (2024), Hijack (2023), and House of the Dragon (2022) and more. 

The webinar will be chaired by Christina Nowak, CSO of Studio Ulster, an industry luminary, celebrated for her relentless pursuit of  innovation and her visionary approach to media and entertainment, and advising studios and crew on virtual production best practises. As a co-founder of the Women in Virtual Production LinkedIn group, Christina is a passionate advocate for female talent in the industry. Her outstanding contributions have earned her numerous accolades, including a nomination for the prestigious Tech Women 100 Award in 2023.
