The session will benefit individuals dealing with their own personal challenges in relation to changes in routine, challenges to their ‘norm’ and coping with their own personal uncertainties as well.  It has one eye focused upon the current situation and the challenges and issues that it brings.

This session is open to all those currently working in any area of unscripted TV.

Study after study has shown that resilience is not just A, but THE key ingredient in achieving success - both individually and collectively.  Resilience is usually described as the ability to cope with challenges or overcome hurdles.  This is only a small part of this vital trait.  Resilience is a much wider quality that helps us to achieve goals, maintain motivation, willpower and more.  It also shapes our emotional state, which is key in driving our performance day-by-day.  It’s even proven to make us ‘happier’.

The session will explore the fascinating topic of cognitive neuroscience to help understand the role of the brain, our mindset and cognition. It will then focus on the different tools and strategies that can be used  to apply this knowledge.  This is science telling us how to pragmatically build resilience and mental strength.
