A workshop series designed by Sarah McCaffrey (MBACP) founder of Solas Mind and  Alison Grade, author of The Freelance Bible – ‘Positive Mental Pathways to Success’. Combining positive psychology and looking at ways to optimise performance both within a production team and individually

Two exploratory sessions looking at how our internal mental processes influence career progression and our management and leadership style and how we can use this knowledge to develop ourselves.

Session 1:

In the first session we will look at our thinking patterns. We will explore how thought patterns are formed and how can you apply the concept of rewiring your brain to help set you up for success.

We will look at recognising and identifying cognitive distortions in ourselves so that with greater gains in self-awareness we can rewire our thinking patterns and improve performance.

  • Where we are now
  • Cognitive distortions
  • Cognitive Restructuring
  • A Few Tools to Challenge Thoughts

Session 2:

In the second session we will look at how we can apply this thinking not just to ourselves but to the teams we are working with to build a positive culture and a resilient team able to work together to deliver in challenging production environments.

  • Resilience
  • A Few Tools to Enhance Resilience
  • The 3 Ps of Emotional Resilience
  • Resilience and Vulnerability
  • A Few Tools to Manage Stress

Learning Outcomes

Individuals will leave with an understanding of how we can rewire our thinking patterns to develop positive mental pathways. By examining our behaviour and thought processes and implementing positive changes we can, not only enhance our professional and personal growth but also, improve that of our team.
