Nostalgic, gentle, cheering, the kind of shows that make you feel warm and cosy inside, especially in times of crisis. There is an art to making comfort TV. In this making of... masterclass, executive producer Christian Hills from True North will take us behind the scenes of Channel 4's Devon and Cornwall and More4's Yorkshire Dales and The Lakes to show us how it is done. He will discuss the mechanics of making both series plus some of the challenges faced along the way.

Time will be allowed at the end of the session for Q & A.
