Talking point presents this course as part of the Industry Sessions, Senior Film Art Department Roles. It will examine the role of the supervising art director and how best to move up into this grade.

This session is supported by ScreenSkills using National Lottery funds awarded by the BFI as part of the Future Film Skills programme.

Who it's for

This course is tailored for a small group of practitioners with art directing experience, ideally those who are considering moving into the art directing role. 

What it covers

The session will be led by Art Director Luke Whitelock (The Batman (2022), No Time to Die, Cruella, Aladdin, Maleficent - Mistress of Evil, Avengers Endgame) who will talk about his journey into film, the role of the Art Director and show examples of his work.
