ScreenSkills HETV: Building your career portfolio delivered by Media Trust will support mid-career, freelance production management and accountancy professionals with experience in unscripted entertainment, continuing drama and/or film to bridge into positions in high-end television (HETV).
This is a hybrid programme that will deliver expert-led training to equip participants from across the UK with the tools to understand what they can offer and how they can more effectively market themselves, network, pitch their professional experience and build a career portfolio to work in HETV.
The programme is supported by the ScreenSkills High-end TV Skills Fund with contributions from UK High-end TV productions.
Who it's for
This programme is aimed at mid-career professionals working in production management and accountancy roles in unscripted entertainment, continuing drama and/ or film who want to bridge into these roles in HETV. It is for freelancers in the industry, and not people working full-time at studios or production companies.
We particularly encourage applications from women, people from minority ethnic backgrounds, people who are neurodivergent and/ or self-identify as disabled, members of the LGBTQI+ community, people returning from career breaks and professionals based outside of London.
Travel expenses will be covered as part of the programme for all participants. A bursary is available to support people to access the programme who require it.
