About PART Training

P.A.R.T is a City & Guilds accredited course for everyone in our Film and Television industries who work with U18’s Cast and SA’s.

Child licensing is a legal requirement for any production, and we understand how navigating your way around the regulations can seem daunting.  P.A.R.T has been designed to be a practical collaboration between our child performance regulations and the production process, assisting you to interpret the regulations in practical terms.

Our course is suited to the following production roles:

Producers, Directors, Line Producers, Production Managers, Production Coordinators, 1st, 2nd and 3rd AD’s, Crowd, Intimacy Coordinators, Chaperones and Tutors.
Course details:
Platform - on Zoom 
Times - between 9.30am - 4.30pm
Qualification - City & Guilds Accreditation, 3 years

Course Contents:

Where risk is attached CB2W - between casting brief to wrap
Safer recruitment practices, codes of conduct and mitigating risk
Types of Child licensing
Regulations - hours, breaks, venue and policy check lists, overnights, night shoots, traveling children
How to prepare for Council spot checks 
Parents, loco parentis and the oFcom code
Understanding close contact and intimacy with U18’s 
Chaperones and tutors roles and responsibilities 
Education aggregating tuition hours around schedules
Safeguarding and PENS
Creating an audit trail


Apart from from highlighting a producitons legal responsibilities and associated risks, our group scenario discussions will enable learners to challenge and work through situations and ask questions.
