Fin Films specialises in stories about science, the natural world and its people and is run by Janine Finlay who has 20+ years experience in broadcast television in both NZ and the UK.
Fin Films is passionate about telling stories and frequently collaborates on projects with some of the most talented and creative people in the country to produce professional content for broadcasters, corporations and organisations - anything from writing scripts for educational output, to making broadcast films and programmes, training, and making environmental campaign films for NGOs.
Fin Films has huge reverence for the natural world and strives to connect people with it - looking continually for stories that fit with these values
Company Director Janine had the great opportunity of setting up and running the film unit for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in the UK & she is engaged by broadcasters as a Producer/Director. She is an RTS Award Winner for Science and History Documentary, is a BAFTA runner up, a Celtic Media Awards nominee and a Soho Shorts nominee.
