Wake - An Award Winning Short - Starring Alison Steadman, Mark Frost, Louisa Clein & Stuart Campbell A modern drama My job as designer was to contact all the cast prior to filming & check any specific requirements. Once contact had been made looks were discussed with the director & then the actor before mood board were drawn up. This job was working with a microbudget, so all purchases were discussed, prior to purchase. Prep time was given to establish looks & then timings were discussed & agreed for the filming schedule. Once looks were established for individuals, notes for continuity were given to my assistant; to allow her to follow up with on set continuity whilst I continued to work at base.

My job was to get performers onto set within the time frames given, to provide on set support with continuity. To work on principal actors, when providing cover & to work on SA's when providing work as a daily. This meant providing established hair & makeup looks & establishing looks, for all skin tones & hair types,(inclusive of men's barbering & afro hair styling).
