Lighting for all skin tones

This e-learning module will give you a good understanding of lighting for all skin tones.

Hosted by DOP Chas Appeti from Nothing Lost and Saul Gittens, in partnership with Procam Take 2, this module will show a variety of lighting set-ups to help you deal with various skin tones on their own and mixing different tones in the same frame.

Lola Maja-Okojevoh, hair and make-up designer, also joins Saul and Chad to show how the collaboration with lighting is essential for making-up different skin tones and shapes.

Module content

The lighting for all skin tones e-learning module includes:

• Introduction and the terms you need to know
• Set-up one: a four walled studio for interiors
• Set-up two: a studio for a stylised look
• Set-up three: a location interior
• Set-up four: a location exterior
• Set-up five: a car interior and exterior
• End of module questions

This course is for everyone who is interested in learning how to use lighting and make-up in a variety of different settings and working with different skin types, tones and face shapes.
