This free eLearning module provides information about the creative industries for young people who are considering their career options.

As well as dispelling some common misconceptions that you and your parents may have about this sector; the module will provide you with a good basic understanding of the creative industries so you can confidently choose careers that will align with your interests and skillsets.

Course content

In this module, you’ll learn about:

  • which sectors make up the creative industries, and where in the UK they can be found
  • what roles and opportunities there are in the creative industries
  • what education and training are needed for roles in the creative industries
  • which skills and personal attributes are valued by the creative industries.
