Golden Globes for Skills Fund contributors

Congratulations and a big thank you to the six Skills Fund-contributing productions that have won at the 77th annual Golden Globe Awards.

The following productions were honoured with awards at the Los Angeles ceremony yesterday:

  • 1917 – best motion picture: drama
  • 1917 – best director (Sam Mendes)
  • Judy – best actress: drama (Renée Zellweger)
  • Succession – best TV series drama
  • Succession – best actor in TV series: drama (Brian Cox)
  • Fleabag – best television comedy
  • Fleabag – best actress in TV series: comedy (Phoebe Waller-Bridge)
  • Chernobyl – best TV limited series
  • Chernobyl – best actor supporting role: limited series (Stellan Skarsgård)
  • The Crown – best actress in TV series: drama (Olivia Colman)

We are delighted that so many productions that paid into our Skills Funds - which support training in the industry - have been recognised.

Catherine the Great, Game of Thrones and Killing Eve had also received nominations. We would like to thank and congratulate these Skills Fund contributors as well.
