Director
Are you a mid-weight/intermediate director with a passion for powerful storytelling and bringing out the best in actors? We're seeking a talented individual to bring our characters to life, in this VR production focused on a vital social issue. Commissioned by Transport for Greater Manchester, this VR mini-doc will be taken to schools across Manchester in a bid to educate children on the deeply long lasting effects of abuse towards the TFGM staff.
While VR experience is a bonus, it's not essential – we have dedicated specialists handling the technical aspects and pre-planned shots. We need someone to guide our actors, ensuring authentic and impactful performances for four compelling scenarios. These narratives will unflinchingly explore antisocial behavior, abuse, and harassment faced by service staff on the Manchester tramways.
This is a unique opportunity to create a truly immersive experience that fosters empathy and drives change. If you're ready to make a significant impact through performance-driven direction, we want to hear from you!
This production will be filmed across Manchester, so local is absolutely vital.
