Award winning writer, director, producer and executive for the cinema and TV (BBC, ITV & C4). . I am also a trainer, have lectured at University of Reading, UWE, Swedish Film Insitute, RCA and Falmouth & Bournemouth Universities etc.  I have trained directors (docs and fiction) , producers and writers. I have run courses for ITF (now ScreenSkills), Screen Scotland and Skillset. External Assessor for the NFTS MA Screenplays. BAFTA Nominated and won many awards e.g Grierson, FIPA, & the Royal Television Society. Currently I am attached as director/writer to “The Lock Inn”, a comedy thriller for FoR Films and in development as co-writer for The Hum, cinema thriller supported by Telefims Canada.

I founded and was director of the International Screenwriters' Festival and produced the Oscar Shortlisted, BAFTA & Emmy Nominated, feature film “Mugabe and the White African”.
