About
London based Cinematographer working across the spectrum of film and video with a keen interest in projects that lie at the intersection of pop culture and arthouse film.
After being a cinephile from a very early age during my teens I realised that film, whether as a spectator or creator, is the thing that gives my life meaning and such I've been pursuing this relationship for the past 15 years.
In 2011 I qualified for a scholarship at the Romanian National Film and Theatre University “I.L. Caragiale” which I graduated from with honours in 2014 with a BASc in Film Editing and Sound.
During my last year of university, I decided to transition to Cinematography and upon graduation, I moved to the UK to develop that in a new environment and to pursue the type of projects that the British market can offer.
Over the last decade I have been fortunate enough to develop tightly-knit relationships with many collaborators that have become my friends and to have my work broadcast and screened around the world.
