About
Sandra strives to be a calm, confident, and dependable presence on set.
As a focus puller, she interprets the emotional rhythm of a shot and scene, shaping timing, sequence, and momentum in service of the story. Her aim is to use a remote focus unit the way a musician uses an instrument, supporting the operator as an invisible dance partner.
Sandra began her career as a Camera Trainee before progressing to 2nd AC on Super 16mm television drama. Five years ago, she stepped up to focus pulling and has since worked across flagship British television drama.
She is committed to developing her career within the Camera Department and continues to learn from the camera team and crew around her. Supportive, generous, and collaborative, Sandra brings both technical precision and emotional intelligence to set.
Her dedication to craft and leadership has been recognised through her selection as a Leader of Tomorrow on the ScreenSkills 2026 programme.
