Celeste is a director who has recently co-directed her first feature documentary; Poly Styrene: I Am A Clichè. As well as her contribution as Director, Celeste also was the principal screenwriter and narrator. The film was a success, featuring in a number of film festivals including Glasgow Film Festival, SXSW, Hot Docs and more, and was screened on both Sky Arts and theatrically through Modern FIlms in early 2021. The film is due for U.S release in early 2022. The film was nominated for a Grierson Award as well as three BIFA nominations, with Celeste being nominated for best emerging director. Celeste is also a published author and educator. Celeste has extensive knowledge of crowdfunding, archival research and clearance, music supervision and film marketing and promotion.
