About
I am a highly motivated and reliable Media and Film Studies graduate with a strong passion for building a career in the TV and media industry. I am particularly drawn to roles that support the creative and logistical foundations of production, and I am currently seeking opportunities as a Runner, with the long‑term goal of progressing into Researcher roles within development or factual programming.
My experience includes hands‑on work with film and TV equipment through Ant & Dec’s Making It in Media programme with The King’s Trust, where I gained practical insight into how productions operate behind the scenes. This strengthened my confidence in supporting crews, understanding set environments, and contributing to early‑stage idea development.
Alongside this, I have developed a growing interest in screenwriting and research, especially the ways in which strong research and thoughtful storytelling shape the direction and authenticity of a project. I enjoy sourcing information, exploring ideas, and helping to build the creative groundwork that supports writers, producers, and production teams.
I bring a blend of creativity, organisation, and a calm, professional approach to fast‑paced environments. I thrive in collaborative teams, adapt quickly to new systems, and am committed to learning from industry professionals as I build my career in the North’s expanding screen sector.
