About
My ambition is to become a HOD / make-up designer on a major production. I have many years of experience as a make-up artist, specialising in beauty and fashion having mainly worked in the high end fashion, editorial, advertising and beauty sectors.
I gave up make-up as a profession for a good while however, deep down my passion for make-up never gave up on me. My return to make-up within the screen industry has evolved rapidly from toying with the idea, then moving onto refresher courses on hair and special effects. Whilst training, and at very short notice, I was offered a day’s work in the crowd room on a major feature film and then work offers started popping up from there. Currently I’m training to be a barber; the more multifaceted one is, the more opportunities within the screen industry become available.
I am furthering my career in the screen industry because it is an environment that will allow me to evolve creatively and build on my organisational skillsets.
