This training is aimed at early career storyboard artists, revisionists and assistants working on animated TV series.  It will be delivered online over 3 weeks and will consist of a mix of masterclasses and assignments finishing with an online networking event to share the work produced and introduce the participants to potential employers.

Participants will leave the course with a better understanding of the process of taking a script to storyboard, learn the basics of the industry standard software Storyboard Pro, develop their drawing skills for storyboarding, increase their knowledge of film language, and finally to use all these to test their skills on an existing script.

This programme is supported by the ScreenSkills Animation Skills Fund with contributions from UK animation productions.

Places are only available to UK-based freelancers/self employed participants.

We welcome and encourage applications from people from lower socio-economic backgrounds; disabled, d/Deaf and neurodiverse participants; Black, Asian and Minority Ethic (BAME) applicants; and LGBTQ+ and non-binary candidates.
