As part of our Making Virtual Production Real season, ScreenSkills are running a series of webinars and in-person open days to introduce screen industry professionals to the creative opportunities of Virtual Production.

We are delighted to open for bookings for the third open day in our season, which will give industry professionals the opportunity to visit Recode XR, the brand new, cutting-edge virtual production studio in Manchester from Carbon Digital Studios and SBS Audio Visual.

On the day, participants will learn more about how Recode works with every step of the production pipeline, from asset creation to final delivery. Experts from Recode will walk through some example projects and talk through some of the key benefits for directors, DoPs and producers in using Virtual Production. These include:

  • the expanded creative possibilities of using Virtual Production
  • lighting and look development using Virtual Production
  • the flexible and streamlined nature of the VP pipeline
  • the sustainability benefits of limited location travel and no physical sets
