HETV Post production paperwork (Wales and Scotland)
The high-end TV post production paperwork programme is a part-time course designed to train existing production assistants, assistant production office coordinators (APOCs), production secretaries and production coordinators in the essential skills needed for managing post-production paperwork—often referred to as ‘programme clear up’ or ‘delivery paperwork’. This critical process takes place at the end of production and involves documenting every element contained in a programme to ensure accurate delivery.
Delivered over six evening sessions, the course allows for practical learning with homework set between classes, giving participants hands-on experience. The course will cover working with different broadcasters, understanding deliverables and how to effectively gather required materials from production. It will also include training in systems such as Silvermouse and Diamond (diversity reporting), and provide guidance on completing a range of key documents including billings, PasCs, TX forms, music sheets, and more.
This training is supported by the ScreenSkills High-end TV Skills Fund with contributions from UK high-end TV productions. It will be delivered by NFTS Cymru and industry post productions paperwork expert Mandy Miller.
