The role of the virtual production supervisor is critical as the success of the virtual production (VP) shoot directly relies on the calibre of the VP supervisor. This 3-day Masterclass training will serve to deliver a deep dive into the role, presenting a comprehensive awareness of the role by gaining a thorough knowledge of the VP Supervisor Core Competencies Charter™ as developed in partnership with MARS Volume, one of the UK’s longest-running virtual production facilities and a range of world-class VP supervisors.

The course will cover VP supervisor core competencies (both professional skills and technical know-how) and provide a unique opportunity to gain hands-on Volume-based immersive experience in the role, by shadowing world-renowned VP supervisors and having the opportunity to take the reins in the role.

This training is supported by the ScreenSkills High-end TV Skills Fund with contributions from UK high-end TV productions and by the ScreenSkills Film Skills Fund with contributions from UK film productions.
