Join ScreenSkills for an online conversation with Oscar-winning film producer, former actor and co-founder of Trademark Films, David Parfitt.
Across a career that spans over five decades, David has produced globally acclaimed titles like The Father, My Week With Marilyn and Shakespeare in Love in addition to holding Chairman roles at both BAFTA, Film London and North East Screen.
In this free hour-long session, we will delve into David’s career to explore what it takes to become a successful film producer, how to have an enduring career in film and the importance of developing a varied skillset.
The interview will be hosted by Lincia Daniel, executive producer across feature films, TV drama and documentaries. Her credits include Freestyle for BBC Film & Film London and head of production on Around the World in 80 Days (BBC1). She is a TV Collective 2025 Breakthrough Leader.
