About
Graduated in Anthropology at the University of Bologna in March 2016, he started to study film directing in 2011, when he attended "Hands on directing" at the Raindance Film School and "Understanding and using HCDV cameras" at the Bill Curtis Associates, both in London. In April 2013, he went to Bolivia, selected for a workshop of Visual Anthropology and field-work arranged by IRFOSS (Institute for Research and Education in Social Sciences) and coordinated by Riccardo Bononi. Since that experience he has been focusing his work on the documentary form, following an anthropological approach and gaining experience as a self-shooting director. Until now he has directed five short documentaries and a feature length one, plus working as a DOP for two other documentaries.
In September 2016 he begins a master's degree in Film Directing at the College of Art in Edinburgh, where he is currently based, working at the post-production of his last short documentary.
