At a stage in later life I have discovered a talent for scriptwriting and have trasfered this on set to directing skills.

I have spent a long time on other major film and HETV sets over the past years: Poldark, Spanish Princess, Sanditon, a lot of smaller scale indie costume period dramas, using each day on set as a paid to attend university session, talking to the crew, the cast, the other sa's who have a wide field of knowledge to impart, 

I'm now working on my own feature, a true story which is set in Victorian England, a period drama which is what i feel pretty passionate about and most drawn to. 

Since enroling on here, I have also picked up other numerous skills: 1st AD, Locations Management, Costume and historical research, edit producer, crowd AD, Casting. and am currently working on - on set covid health and safety measures. 

I am currently studying set design both for miniature scale and full scale sets, I am also a set builder and decorator.

I have jist left thre trade of being a tailor of reproduction period clothing, which I workd in for the past 30 years!
