I am an experienced make up artist and tutor. I have 20 years experience as a make up artist and started my career with MAC in the USA .My experience with make up has been mainly the beauty, fashion and bridal genres and have now worked on several tv shows and films with my last position being a crowd supervisor on a short film and I am currently in the pre-production stage of designing the hair and make up for a pro-type film. I have alslo worked on a Netflix feature film as a Make Up and Hair Crowd Room Junior where I was responsible for the majority of the make up applications on SA’s and Dancers, the position also involved hand making head and hair pieces using a variety of materials and methods. As a Screenskills Hair and Make Up Trainee I completed 7 of the 10 episodes on a Netflix series and following that I worked on a 6 episode BBC/HBO drama, in both positions my main responsibilites were working with principal and supporting artists. I have experience of working with Afro textured natural hair in both styling and barbering and am completely skilled at applying make up for all ethnicities and ages. I have also had the opportunity to make and apply some small prosthetics, lay on facial hair and apply postiche, along with attending a wig fitting and styling course

I am also a freelance tutor, teaching Personal and Social Development, Customer Sevice, Confidence Building and Employability.

I've worked within many different industries with people at all levels and I am a confident communicator, professional, organised, creative and flexible in the way I work.

I like to feel challenged in any role I do and like the opportunity to be an integral part of any team I join as I take full responsibility and ownership for the tasks/work I do.

My goal now is to expand my knowledge, utilise the skills I have already gained as a make up artist and develop those skills within television, film and commercials. I am open to and welcome all opportunities that will allow me to develop and progress within the creative sector.

I hold a full clean driving licence and have a vehicle.
