All participants are spotted and nominated by their senior peers for the potential they have shown to progress to head of department, above the line, or other senior decision-making leadership roles in the future.
Many of the nominators were on hand to hear the speeches and celebrate with their colleagues.

Some of the nominators are Leaders of Tomorrow themselves, with several already benefitting from the funded placements, bespoke training, mentoring, tailored one-to-one support from industry experts and networking opportunities that the programme offers.
They include May Ziade with her nominator Kiri Degon from cohort 1 and Michaela McCaffrey and her nominator Kathleen Lambie from cohort 2.
