Mental health and resilience during a crisis

Dr Paul Litchfield, award-winning expert in occupational mental health, talks about wellbeing in the Covid-19 crisis. He was speaking on Wednesday 22 April  2020 at an online Q&A organised by ScreenSkills ITF.

During the unprecedented time of the coronavirus crisis, we need to focus more than ever on our mental health and resilience.

Dr Paul Litchfield, award-winning expert in occupational mental health recognises this is a real challenge for people currently working in the screen industries. The chair of What Works Centre for Wellbeing provides his expertise to TV programme-makers on best practice in wellbeing.

He covers mental health through a crisis, the risks to wellbeing and how to mitigate those risks and positively to thrive. His first tip is on eating the elephant.

Paul comes with a wealth of experience in the screen industries, having worked extensively with broadcasters to create successful frameworks for health, safety and wellbeing.
