About

I love what I do and do what I love!

I love people. I pride myself of being able to find a common language with others. This helps me to over deliver on production aspirations while making the process enjoyable for both myself and everyone I work with.

As a responsible & experienced production team member I understand the need to be able to pivot quickly to suit changing parameters while keeping to tight shoot schedules.

Experience

  1. Casting director

    07 Production, Kyiv, Ukraine · Sep 2017 - Mar 2022

Finding new acting talent for Ukraine’s national channel. Working closely with producers and directors to ensure they are getting the best options for the brief in front of them. Organising casting calls. Negotiating with agents. Keeping the casting and usages on budget. Negotiating talent use fees and contracts. Working with directors in the final selection of actors to ensure the talent is as per their vision. During filming, I help the actors and the director find a good rapport.

  2. 1st AD

    07 Production, Kyiv, Ukraine. · Oct 2021 - Dec 2021

Ensuring an achievable and workable shoot schedule on productions for 07 by studying the detailed production outcomes - working closely with all departments. Attending location recce with members of the film crew to make a robust shoot plan including location logistics. Drawing up shoot schedule and production plan in accordance with the site logistics while keeping budget front and center. Implementation of the production schedule on set, ensuring timings are kept to - and, if required, adjustment of the production schedule at a moment’s notice. Production is all about solving issues in the moment and I excel at problem solving as things come up. And last, but definitely not least, ensuring as comfortable a work environment as possible for the director and all other units. A happy set is a productive set and I think this is very important for the outcome as well as for all involved.
