About
With over thirty years of experience in the performing arts, my skills and experience could be valuable to your production team.
I'm highly organised and detail-oriented and have experience managing and coordinating many aspects of film production, from pre-production planning through on-set execution to post-production completion. I'm adept at maintaining production schedules, ensuring budget compliance, and fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
I originally studied at the Royal Academy of Music and then at the Vancouver Film School. I have produced, directed, written, and edited films and television.
I possess the following attributes that would make me an asset to your team:
- Excellent computer skills, including Premiere, Photoshop, Logic Pro, Microsoft Office and Google Apps Suite. I'm even familiar with programming languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks.
- Broad career and life experience: I am a natural communicator who will always represent you and the project professionally and positively.
- Maturity, creativity and adaptability: I quickly research and identify alternative solutions when a situation presents a challenge or hurdle.
- Adept at working in intense environments: Having experienced the pressures of deadlines, tight budgets and clashing personalities, I learned to respond to conflict with empathy, kindness and patience.
- Problem solver who enjoys collaboration: I assume that someone in the room always knows more than I do. Even in a leadership role, being open to input from others results in better outcomes.
- A perfectionist who respects schedules and budgets: I want every project I work on to be the best. Working with schedules and budgets informs the process rather than the quality of the outcome.
- Amiable & enthusiastic personality: Whether it's star cast or members of the general public, I will always engage politely, respectfully and discreetly.
