Elizabeth is a dedicated professional with a decade-long tenure in the film industry. Primarily serving as an assistant, she has worked on high-end TV (HETV) dramas and feature films such as Downton Abbey: A New Era, Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumantia and Mary & George. Her passion for cinematography led her to explore film photography, culminating in a nomination for the British Photography Awards in 2023. Her artistic endeavours have led to exhibitions at renowned galleries like the Royal Western Arts Society (RWA) and various other high-end galleries throughout the UK. Her current aspiration is to progress towards becoming a director of photography, combining her technical expertise and creative vision in the realm of cinematography.
Elizabeth is currently a HETV Leader of Tomorrow. Participants in the three-year inclusion programme for mid-level professionals are nominated by senior colleagues in high-end TV. Elizabeth’s nominator Anna Valdez Hanks said: “I met Elizabeth when she first entered the industry 11 years ago. She impressed me then with her zeal for learning, taking it upon herself to seek informal mentors and to get extra experience in sparking and in the Kodak labs. Her enthusiasm has progressed her through the camera hierarchy and, alongside, she has demonstrated her talent for making powerful images in abundance through her film photography.”
