Film and HETV Trainee Finder is a year-long paid placement programme that matches talented individuals with feature films, high-end TV dramas and children's TV productions.

If you are considering applying to the programme this year - or are just interested in finding out how to get into film and TV -  this careers event, aimed at those based in Scotland, is designed to demystify some of the departments Trainee Finder will be recruiting for. 

There will also be the opportunity to find out more about the programme, the recruitment process and ask questions directly to industry professionals.

Speakers

There will 2-3 speakers in attendance from any of the following departments: accounts, art (including props), assistant director, camera, costume, edit, hair and makeup, locations, script supervisor, sound, production office
and video.

  • Shona De Rose - HETV hair and make up trainee
  • Lucy Enfield - script supervisor

 

Format

After a short introduction featuring more information about getting into industry and applying to the Trainee Finder programme, there will be a Q&A with current and former trainees from Trainee Finder.

This event will feature professionals and productions based in Scotland. We are also hosting events for the following regions:
